- This is the blog for Sheilah Vance, the author. But, I wear many hats. I am an attorney and author from the Philadelphia, PA area. Land Mines is a novel about a woman who keeps a journal to help her navigate the land mines of separation, divorce and dating again and shows how she rebuilds her life through self-help, self-reflection and the grace of God. Journaling through the Land Mines is the companion journal. The last book in the trilogy, Five Keys to Navigating the Land Mines of Divorce, will be published in 2011.
